Guided walk / cycle tours: ‘Our neighbourhood: fit for the future?’ Sunday 11th May

Another Sustainable Bishopston event, on Sunday 11th May, meet from 1.30pm for departure at 2pm sharp.

Local green building and development trails (choice of routes by either foot and cycle) around the area to explore green building techniques, sustainable drainage and development that’s ready for the future.

Our guides will be on hand to answer questions and encourage discussion as you tour interesting projects in the area and consider how sustainable energy and building techniques fit our neighbourhood.

Free (donations welcome) – just come with either (i) good footwear or (ii) a bicycle, and our two guides will take you round the trail.

If it looks like rain bring either an umbrella/hat or waterproofs for your chosen mode of travel.  The routes will be about 90 mins each, suited to either a medium walking pace, or a gentle cycle ride.

Meet from 1.30pm to set off at 2pm sharp from the Sustainable Bishopston Noticeboard on Gloucester Rd, outside Tescos. 171 Gloucester Rd, Bristol, BS7 8BE

Please note the tour is at your own risk while you accompany our voluntary guides.

This event is part of The Bishopston, Cotham and Redland Neighbourhood Festival 2014
